Which college is better for a working adult National University or Golden Gate University?

I work full time and do not wish to attend a university with a bad reputation like Devry or UOP. I wish to finish a bachelor degree in business. After careful consideration I have narrowed down my choices to either Golden Gate University or National University. National University has a campus in San Jose where I live and Golden Gate University is in SF. Both offer online courses but with GGU I will have to commute to SF periodically to sell my used textbooks. I do not mind this at all. My question is more about National University, are they a well respected University and will employers view a business degree from NU as legitamate? I have already considered San Jose City College and understand that it would be cheaper but will take quite a bit longer. I am 26 years old and wish to have my degree finished at least by 31. Anyone go to either university? Anyone graduate from either University? Is NU as respected as GGU? Both schools are accreditated by the WASC, this is partly why I am considering them. NU may be more convenient for me but will a bachelor's degree from here be as respected as a bachelor's degree from GGU? I also want to have the option of going on to get a Master's degree from SJSU or any other well respected college later. Any advice or help with this is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

It's terrible! You need protein, especially for breakfast. Ya like oatmeal ? It'd be a huge improvement! If not, at least put milk on your cereal, at least you'll get some real calories. Fruits are sides or snacks, not meal replacments, again protien is needed, along with fat, we are complex creatures, not just calorie banks, if your diet doesn't provide enough baseline nutrients, it will give you the reverse of which you seek, you will lose muscle, your brain will tell the body to start storing more calories, and your mood, sleep, energy will all suffer. It's not rocket science, enjoyable exercise and a diet that supports it and you. Something you can make a lifestyle and stay with for life ( after a few months, you'll never want to quit, as long as you keep it enjoyable and sensible!)

Should my ears be sore after stretching?

I don't have a gauge, but anytime you do something to your ear it is probably bound to be sore a little. You should probably slow down on changing sizes. You could also clean it with the solution once in the morning and once at night after you brush your teeth. Hope that helps.

I'm not going to breastfeed, I really doubt I'm going to be able to when I wind up having a baby. Not everyone can breastfeed, and it just makes life more easier for those that can't and already have to buy formula. If people actually wanted to breastfeed, they wouldn't even care about this machine, they'd just forget the complaints about it and do what they need to do to make their baby as healthy as possible. If a person that could breastfeed suddenly saw this machine and was like, oh wow I don't need to breastfeed anymore, that'd be weird.

Recently I have come down with an illness and I also have braces which I must be careful not to break. You choose to not breast feed, it is your choice. The thing I would reconsider is the formula you want to use, Nestle is probably the worst one out there. It has been responsible for the death of many babies because of it's low quality. There have been issues with it on and off since the late 1980's. Just for the common sense aspect, would your really want your newborn child's primary food source to be made by a company who's main product is candy?

When you mention the names in your book, to you it may be innocent but the wording can be different to someone else and you could get a court fight. It may take a bit longer to get your book done but in a long run it could be worth it. There have been times I have read where the company name sounded like the real one but enough difference that it would be alright.

Is this a good kissing scene for my fantasy/romance novel?

I'm going to say that while I agree with what Vicky said about awkward descriptions, her rewrite is way too dramatic. Too much description of a kissing scene just makes it seem cheesy, in my never-humble opinion. You've got to strike a balance between enough detail to flesh out the scene but not so much that it becomes melodramatic. For example, I can't stand scenes that go on and on about "He pressed his soft lips gently to mine, the corners of his mouth turning slightly upwards as he caressed my face with his free hand. I responded to his touch..." Yaddah yaddah. We get it. Lips meet and spit is swapped.

I somewhat feel like you're telling rather than showing. You came straight out and said that he's half-demon. You don't necessarily have the clarify the race or sub-race of the narrator within the first couple of paragraphs. It could be more realistic for the matter to come up in a conversation or for another character to mention it. Just my opinion, really. I see nothing wrong regarding the the setting establishment, I'm assuming you'll offer a description on the inside or back cover of the novel if you plan to get it published. Overall, well done. Throat pain, I need help?

Sorry this is long...okay, here's what happened...my throat's been sore for a few weeks now, partially cuz i've had a cough. I take singing lessons and chorus stuff like that and I was so tempted to sing I did like five times duringmy sore throat, now it's red and not that painful but it is a bit irritating. I tried drinking hot tea, it helps but just now I drank some hot tea, it was really hot but it didn't really cause me pain. I ate some of the warm honey afterwards, now my throat hurts, I think it's cuz of the honey cuz honey's always made my throat tingle (not that I'm allergic it still helps me) but I'm scared that I've damage my voice. My girlfriend and I were raised into different religions. She was born into the Jehovah Witness society and I was raised along Christianity. We are both fairly new in our relationship. I do full body workouts thrice a week with 2 days cardio in between..resting 2 days. i have a pak of animal cuts in the morning and a myoplex protein shake after my workouts. I noticed on the back of a Deer Park bottle, it states Nestle. Does Nestle also make Deer Park and if so, why seperate names?

I bought some cream from nestle it came in a little can. I been trying to find a recipe for it but all the recipes call for heavy cream. So if anybody has a recipe for my can of cream. Oh also it just said cream, not heavy or whipping or table or any of those other kinds of cream, so I'm not what sure what it is. ok, a recap because i have been asking questions about this issue in the past. i have an almost 4 year old son. i was never married to the mom and my name is not on his bc. i had visitation and i was ordered to pay child support. i also stopped picking him up when he was about 9 months old. haven't seen him since then. i used to smoke weed and my ex gfs parents did not like me so i just said to hell with it.. i got sick of their shi+. my ex gfs parents have helped her raise my son and now i find out she is in rehab for drug addiction and my son tested positive as well. well in this effed up meeting they said that my son was safe with the grand parents so they wasn't going to move him with me and my family. i live with my parents. cyfd suggested that i pick up where i left off on the orginal court order of picking him up for visitation. me and my mom and dad said that would be great. well the grand parents said absolutely NOT. they told me that they want me to be introduced into the boys life again slowly... i told them thats absolutely NOT GONNA HAPPEN. i am the boys father and i should not have to be INTRODUCED TO HIM. thats a bunch of bull!!! also me and my parents blame the grand parents for my son being exposed to drugs!!! where the hell was she when this was happening. she gave a lame story about how my ex gf got angry at her cause she told her she needed to leave the guy she was with and seek rehab and that caused my ex to take my son and not let her have access to him. she should have called cyfd!!! also the grand mother brought up that she reached out to me last january for my help!! she did and eventually i did call the cyfd in may. well when i confronted her about this issue this ***** says, where were you? if you would have been exercising your visitation maybe you would have known something was up... what a effing joke!!! i don't want these people raising my son and i think his mother should be stripped of all parental rights ASAP. i mean she should NEVER get to see him or raise him again. today i get served papers that these effing people are filing for guardianship of my son!!! so what if they raised him, fed and clothed him!! they are grand parents that is what grand parents do!! bottom line, they failed to protect my son and should not have custody. this woman has the nerve to say that my son never received a dime of child support. no cards on b-days or christmas... what the eff ever!! you people failed to keep him safe!!! that should out weigh me being MIA as these effing people call it!!! also, statistics say that people on meth 75% of them never recover so it pissed me off when i was told that shes in rehab changing her life. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF I KILLED MY GUINEA PIG?!?!!?!?

I got a cavy about a month ago, and he's always been pretty vocal and active. Today, I was putting him back in his cage after floor time, and I wasn't able to stop him from jumping out of my hands. He was fine at first, but then a few minutes later, he started sneezing for about five minutes, then coughed, then started excessively chewing on his tube toy. Then he started eating his fresh veggies,but then went from those to hay to pellets, back to veggies. Then he went in his pigloo, and has been lying on his side, and nestling his head into the bedding. I have been checking on him, and when I sit down eye level with the cage, he "yawns" and starts clicking his teeth at me. He even charged the cage this last time. I looked around, and some sites say that laying is relaxing. But I've never seen him do this before, and normally his fresh food lasts only minutes, its been like an hour, and he hasn't eaten much, but I always give him food when we are playing. I really hope he's gonna be ok! Also, I know yawning is a sign he's pissed, and his breathing is ABOUT 104 bpm. I say about because he kept moving. And he hasn't made any noises. Not even when he jumped, if he got hurt he would have squeeled right? Could he just be mad at me cuz he is not a fan of going back in his cage?

5c section safe or not?

I have had 4 c sections with the latest being 8 months ago. I'm freaking out because I just got a positive pregnancy test. We have being careful not to get pregnant again for several reasons, but someone had other plans for us I guess. My other c sects were 17,15,11 years ago. I'm petrified for health reasons. How safe or unsafe is it? Car was damaged while at automobile shop getting worked on...?

I just received a phone call regarding my car being damaged while it was at the automobile repair shop. I have a 5 speed civic with an automatic start button on the remote. I told the employees that yesterday we accidentally pushed the button and the car started and drove itself into the bumper of a van. (it was in 1st gear with the emergency brake up). I told the technician to be careful and not press the automatic start button. I received a phone call stating that the technician supposedly just pressed the unlock button on the remote and the car started and drove itself over the parking stopper (cement) and into a cement flower bed. There is damage to the car (deep scratches on the front bumper). Do I have any chance of the automobile center to pay for the repair of my bumper? Has anyone heard of this happening before?

My MIL has reached her limit with us?

I love my MIL as a person, but she is terrible with finances, and her kids find themselves picking up most of her bills because of her poor financial planning. Her dogs are 100% outside dogs, always have been, they are huge, dirty, smelly, and pretty much untrained. These are not small pampered lap pets, they are just fine out in the elements. Instead of saving up to pay a professional to fix it for years to come, she assumed I would pay for the materials to do a crappy patch job that will probably blow right off again because Im not a carpenter. The monsoons are coming, so she called me up the other day and told me she needed me to come fix it asap. She can't afford the $250 materials I'll need, so guess who gets to pay? I suggested building a small wood shelter for the dogs instead, which would be just as effective and cost only about $50. But no, they have to have a whole covered porch to stay out of the rain. These dogs will be perfectly fine out in the rain come on why should I have to help them out.. If she cant afford them then she should take them to the pound right?

Why is it illegal to cycle on the sidewalk?

In my town I cycle on the sidewalk a lot on the roads where there's a sidewalk. The cops have never said anything. Some of the roads are so busy and it wouldn't be safe to ride on the road. Why is it a law, when not riding on the sidewalk can be so dangerous? When there are pedestrians around I'm careful. I slow down. I've never hit anyone. I'm from Massachusetts if it matters. Why is cutting so bad?

The Tollhouse Recipe IS the best chocolate chip cookie recipe out there. You are not following the recipe exactly, are altering the ingredients, and expecting great results. You must measure your ingredients exactly. It sounds as though you are using too much baking powder/soda and too much flour. You can use about 1/4 cup less of each sugar ( white and brown) and get a pretty good result. Also... at what temperature are you baking them? What altitude are you at? These are also things that can effect the outcome. For great tasting Tollhouse cookies, follow the recipe exactly... cream the butter first, etc.... good luck!!! Maybe you could google "diabetic chocolate chip cookies and see what comes up for a cookie that does not use sugar?

Why is my rabbit so attached to me?

She's nine weeks old and I have only had her for five days. When I put her down so she can hop around and so we can play, she just hops back up into my lap and refuses to play. Handled pet turtle right before eating 1.5 hours ago. Salmonella?

I know that turtles are often carriers of salmonella and I always am careful to wash my hands right after handling my pet turtle, but I'm moving and also had to rush to babysitting so everything is really crazy and this time I didn't. IWave MP3 Player Wont Turn On?

I got a 4Gig iwave as a gift a few months ago, and it's been working okay until today. It refuses to turn on no matter how long (or short) I hold the power button. It was half charged on Tuesday, the last time I used it, so it had enough battery when I turned it off. Since then, it's been safely nestled in my purse in a little bag/case and has had no exposure to liquids. I plugged it into my computer and it doesn't even recognize that it's plugged in. Throat pain, I need help?

Sorry this is long...okay, here's what happened...my throat's been sore for a few weeks now, partially cuz i've had a cough. Why is Washington, DC letting states enforce federal laws?

I've been reading a lot about how states are coming up with their own immigration laws and such laws that give local law enforcement officials federal power basically. Don't you think the Obama administration should be more careful about what the states are doing...? Just saying because I personally think that the states should leave those kinds of things with the feds and not put that kind of power into the hands of law enforcement officers in their communities because that's going to cause a lot of problems like people claiming racial discrimination or other things like that. Please help, I've been feeling so depressed lately :( None of my friends want to hangout with me anymore. This time last year, I had a group of about 20 good friends from my school (4 of which were my best friends), but now it seems that they are all blowing me off. None of them invite me to hang out anymore. I see all over Facebook that they have big parties and get-togethers, but they never invite me. One of my friends even told me that her pool party was canceled, but had it anyway without telling me. I've been trying to make the initiative by inviting them to my house or beach outings, but half of them just ignore the invite and the other half show up but exclude me from their conversations. I've been careful to stay out of drama and I did nothing to hurt any of them. I don't mean to sound whiney, I just don't know what to do. Part of me feels really betrayed by them, but I also don't want to isolate myself from all of my friends either. Any advice?

So I have been having my period since I was 12 and Im 16 now. If her ears smell she most likely has a yeast infection in her ears. This can be taken care of with antibiotic ear drops which you can get from your veterinarian after a visit. Also ear cleaner is helpful. Call your vet for instructions on how to clean the ears, don't use a Qtip as you may hurt her. If there is any black or brown debri a good cleaning is necessary. With that breed of dog she needs to have the hair from her ears plucked this should only be done by an experienced groomer, or a vet technician. If you would like to learn how to clean her ears and pluck them on your own to save on cost in the long run, a vet technician at any vet would most likely teach you how. We do it at the practice I work for. Hope I helped!
