Have Nestle ever considered its responsibility towards the local habitats in Ivory Coast?
Nestle has a market share of %12 in the Chocolate industry, for 50 years it's been getting the Cocoa from Ivory Coast which have been farmed by children under the age of 15yrs old, "The Engel Harken" agreement which was signed by major Chocolate manufacturers and traders, was supposed to stop the most cruel form of child labour ever known to mankind, seen in the Cocoa farming in West Africa, where children aged less than 15yrs old mostly around 10yrs old forced to carry on their backs sacks that weighs more than 10Kg full of pure Cocoa each 10Kg is charged at an equivalent of 5pence, but when sold each 1Kg can make up to 40 bars of chocolate each one sold at 1.50.
