Handled pet turtle right before eating 1.5 hours ago. Salmonella?

I know that turtles are often carriers of salmonella and I always am careful to wash my hands right after handling my pet turtle, but I'm moving and also had to rush to babysitting so everything is really crazy and this time I didn't. About an hour and a half ago I had to move my turtle into a carrier, but didn't have time to wash my hands before finishing my pizza And running off to babysit. About 5 mins ago though I started having really bad stomach pain and diariah (sp?). Could symptoms of salmonella appear that quickly and would they present that way? My stomach is still pretty upset. If it's salmonella could I have spread it to the little girl Im babysitting?
